Their primary responsibilities include:

• Delivering excellent customer service in branch and over the phone.
• Exhibiting a knowledge of over-the-counter products.
• Taking in and handing out prescriptions to customers.
• Using the pharmacy computer programme.
• Assembling prescriptions with accuracy.
• Collecting stock and assembling dosette boxes.
• Liaising with other healthcare professionals in the best interest of patients. 
• Storage, date rotation and reordering of pharmacy stock.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic workspace and branch as a whole.
